London Skolars are delighted to announce the signing Super League back Jamie O’Callaghan from London Broncos.
O’Callaghan, 23, joined Broncos academy aged 16 and made such an impact that he made his first team debut against Wigan aged just 17. All in all O’Callaghan made 94 starts for Broncos during his time there scoring a total of 80 points. Injuries in 2013 meant only 12 starts were made for the first team.
O’Callaghan has represented the Ireland Rugby League national side and won three caps playing against France, Wales and Scotland.
Commenting on Skolars latest signing head coach Joe Mbu had this to say: “I’m delighted Jamie has signed for us. He brings a wealth of Super League experience to the club, which will be invaluable next season. We’ve added the experience of Dave Williams and Rob Thomas over the past two years and the addition of Jamie can only make the team stronger.”
