Fitness in the Park

The rationale behind Fitness in the Park is to work hand in hand with both Haringey Council and Sport England in order to try to drive participation in organised sport and recreational activity. This will not only have a positive impact in the quality of life for those taking part but will also offer an opportunity for those who do not like to join gyms or enjoy the ‘natural’ fitness equipment the parks in the borough have to offer. All sessions will be ‘walk up’ and will be undertaken by qualified fitness instructors and coaches.

The programme will run in the summer months each Thursday between June 11th and August 13th, meeting points in the park and prices will be published here in February.

The parks where the programme will roll out in are:
Finsbury Park, Downhills Park, Alexandra Park, Lordship Lane Rec Ground and Priory Park.
