It’s 10 years ago this weekend that the club record in the amateur days was set, when Ant Dellar’s 2 tries and 12 conversions saw him notch up 32 points against Kingston Warriors in the Rugby League Conference. That was equalled later in 2001 when Damien Greene repeated the feat against South Norfolk Saints.
On Sunday, with two tries and eight conversions, Dylan Skee’s 24 point haul in the 44-22 victory against Rochdale Hornets is a club record in the professional era (click here for match report)
The previous best in the league was 20 by Jake Johnstone (2003), Mark Cantoni (2004) and Jy-Mel Coleman (2010) all recorded against Gateshead Thunder.
The previous best in all game was 22 (11 goals) by Ben Joyce against St Albans Centurions in the Northern Rail Cup in 2006.
With Lamont Bryan also scoring two tries, Skolars recorded their first win of the league season against third placed Hornets (see match report)
