Skolars sweep past Gloucestershire

Mufaro Mvududu and Iliess Macani impressed for London Skolars as they emerged comfortable 36-12 winners over Gloucestershire All Golds.

Mvududu kick-started the Skolars’ impressive performance early in the first half and, even though Casey Canterbury levelled with a try on 31 minutes, the visitors were soon back on top.

Danny Yates added a second try for London before half-time and Mvududu continued his form by crossing just after the restart before Macani then popped up with two second-half tries.

Phil Cowburn’s try for Gloucestershire on 54 minutes was mere consolation, as the hosts had also seen Ollie Purslow cross for London just minutes before Macani’s second.
