The 2017-2018 London and South East Boys Champion Schools competition will see the finals held at London Skolars’ New River Stadium on Tuesday, January 23.
Ahead of the day, Rugby Football League Education Officer Stephen Guan said: “It has been an exciting new competition structure this year for the region, which has seen two leagues played at each year group with each league winner progressing into the finals.
“The winner of each final will not only be crowned regional champions but also take the top seed going into the national rounds, with the runner up taking the second seed route.
“It’s great to be back at the home ground of London Skolars for a second year and the club have been fantastic in the lead up and will add support on the day through their community staff and students from their Category 3 College partner, Barnett and Southgate.”
Entry to the Finals Day will be free and the clubhouse will be open for refreshments throughout the day.
Skolars General Manager, Simon Fox, said::
“We’re looking forward to a really energetic and passionate finals series tomorrow with the very best of London and South East rugby league talent on show at New River Stadium. Everybody is welcome to join us on the day and witness some potential Skolars stars and Rugby League players of the future. We will also be keeping people updated on Twitter as the action hots up via @LondonSkolarsRL”
The first game kicks off at 11am, with the final match scheduled to get underway at 4.00pm.
