London Skolars host former 4-time Super League and 3-time World Club Champions, Bradford Bulls to New River Stadium on Saturday 28th July, 3pm.
Acclaimed as one for the most iconic sports brands in the last 20 years, the Bulls will be making their first appearance against London Skolars in the Capital. With a number of ex-Bulls players in the Sklolars ranks, the contest is sure to be be keenly fought.
Commenting on the fixture, former Bradford Bulls marketing man and current Skolars General Manager, Simon Fox, said:
“Hosting the Bradford Bulls will be an iconic moment for us as a club and one we will fully embrace. Irrespective of League tables or position, they are one of the cornerstones of the modern game of rugby league and their reputation as a true sporting great is unparalleled.
“Not only did they create the blueprint for the summer game, they were one of the founding clubs to drive their whole brand through community integration. It is that magical touch of ‘knowing who you are’ that makes them unique across the sport.
“Our fans will have the honour of seeing the Bulls live at New River Stadium on Saturday 28th July and we would love the magnificent Bulls supporters base, who’ve done it tough in recent years, to come and enjoy a great event in the capital. There are a range of activities planned for the day including a live band, street food stalls and a craft ale bar. In addition the Skolars will also be hosting a junior game on the main pitch from 12.45pm.
